Kindergarten 

You may download the forms to fill out or print a copy to fill out and then send to [email protected] at the Sunrise School Division or you may mail them directly to Box 1206, Beausejour, MB, R0E 0C0.

The Connect & Learn assessment has become a valued part of each student’s kindergarten registration process.  If you have not already booked an assessment for your child, you will be contacted by phone to book an assessment upon submission of your child’s kindergarten registration forms. 

Eligibility Requirements

• Kindergarten: Five years of age on or before December 31
• Grade 1: Six years of age on or before December 31

Additional Information

• We require proof of age at time of registration. 
• If a birth certificate is unavailable, we will accept a baptismal certificate.
• If your child is enrolled in Kindergarten classes, you do not need re-register them.

We offer programs in three languages to all children beginning in Kindergarten or Grade 1 at the following schools: 

English 

English & French Immersion

English & Ukrainian Bilingual

Entry into the French Immersion and English/Ukrainian Bilingual Programs is open to all children of Kindergarten and Grade 1 age who possess little or no knowledge of the French or Ukrainian language, but who wish to become bilingual by learning French or Ukrainian as a second language.
