To be considered for Honours status:
Grades 9-10: Students must achieve an average of 80% or higher on all courses taken (minimum of nine courses (9) in Gr. 9, minimum of eight (8) courses in Gr. 10).
Grade 11: Students must achieve an average of 80% or higher in a minimum of six (6) Gr. 11 courses (Note: Phys. Ed does not count as one of the six eligible courses).
Grade 12: Students must achieve an average of 80% or higher on all courses taken in their graduating year, with a minimum of four (4) courses being a the Grade 12 level. (Note: Phys. Ed does not count as one of the eligible courses). Any failures in Gr. 12 will make a student ineligible for honour roll status. A maximum of four (4) Apprenticeship credits can be applied.
NOTE: For the 2011/12 school year, grade 12 credits taken in previous years will be included towards their final grade 12 average. Starting in the 2012/2013 school year, averages are calculated on courses taken in the grade 12 year only.
Grades 9-12: All courses taken during the year (e.g. Adult Learning Centres, Independent Study, Special Language Credits, Private Music Options, etc.) are calculated in the final average for the year the mark was submitted.
