SCI Habitat for Humanity build

El Salvador!

Picture.jpg

This year up to 15 students  will travel to El Salvador for the first two and a half weeks of July.  There, they will build two homes for Salvadoran families, experience what it is like to live in El Salvador, meet the people of El Salvador, learn about the country and see some of El Salvador's tourist attractions (like an awesome beach resort)!

One of the pools at the El Pimental Resort, a resort run by a local, Salvadoran family.  We spend our last  weekend there relaxing!

To join the team, participants will fill out an application form (found at a link below) and participate in an informal, telephone interview.  This process helps to ensure the formation of a dynamic team of individuals that complement each others strengths.

Please check out the information below.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.  If you want to apply, fill out a form and e-mail it back to me!

A team effort.  Making cement the hard way -- where's the truck?
DiggingTrenches.jpg
Memories from trip 1 -- digging trenches for the foundation!   Luckily, year two the trenches were already done.

Once I have the applications, I will also look into setting up an information meeting for you and your parents.
I look forward to hearing from you!
