Click for more images. On last week of February, Ms. DeLaronde’s ELA 20F class spent time doing teamwork building activities. They discussed, planned, designed and contructed towers using only dried pasta and mini marshmallows (a very challenging task, if you’ve never tried it).

They triumphed in the face of adversity and built some amazing structures. They put to work their skills from science and math to build towers that were tall and quite sturdy. These students also demonstrated the characteristics of good teamwork along the way: they co-operated, compromised and shared ideas in a constructive and respectful way. Shania, Amy and Austin built the tallest structure. Dustin, Curtis and Jayden built the sturdiest structure.
