SCI students, parents, administration, RCMP, community policing, municipal counselor and Divisional Administration all met on December 2^nd and a decision was made to move the area where students could smoke if they chose.  Beginning January 5, 2009 students that choose to smoke will do so off the north-east corner of the property between the parking lot driveway and the ???Basement Drop in Centre???.  This change will ensure compliance with divisional policy: www.sunrisesd.ca/Documents/i1503/Smoke%20Free%20Environment%203200.pdf
