ECOLE POWERVIEW SCHOOL
UNIVERSITY AND SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
Please read the school bulletins as well as visit PVS's website for information regarding Grade 12 counseling information.
The grade 12 students were encouraged to attend the Annual National University Fair featuring representatives from 30 Canadian universities. This was held in Winnipeg on November 4 at 7 pm. Any students considering attending university outside of Manitoba should have attended.
So far this year the grade 12 students had the opportunity to attend the Manitoba Post-Secondary Education Information Session in Lac du Bonnet, on October 14th. They also attended the Career Symposium in Beausejour on October 21st. Both sessions provided students with the opportunity to obtain any information required regarding scholarships at the Manitoba post-secondary institutions, applications and viewbooks, grade 12 course requirements for specific programs and faculties as well as entrance deadlines. If your child did not attend these sessions, I would advise them to go to the university's or college's website and find out what they need to know. DO THIS NOW, DON'T WAIT.
