Kevin Jaworski has been coaching at Springfield Collegiate for the last eight seasons in both volleyball and badminton. Over those eight years he has lead two of his teams to KPAC Tier 2 titles in JV and varsity boys volleyball in 2014 and 2017 respectively.
Kevin dedicates a lot of his time to Springfield's badminton program where he is the coach for both the JV and varsity teams. This year in the KPAC badminton tournament two of his athletes qualified for the Provincial Championships in Thompson, and the team finished third in the race for the varsity banner in KPAC. He has full rosters for all categories and provides excellent opportunities for his athletes to participate in this sport. His practices are very technical and he teaches many skills to all his players all while allowing them to have fun at the same time. His athletes have reached the Provincials on a regular basis over the past few years and have had much success.
Springfield Collegiate feels very fortunate to have such a dedicated coach in their building. He puts a tremendous amount of effort into his coaching and has developed many great athletes, some of which have gone on to play USports. He teaches in the Humanities Department and is involved in the school's Student Leadership Cohort and Sustainable Development programs but still continues to be a committed coach and the PE Department at Springfield appreciates all his efforts.
