The Maintenance Department is comprised of 2 components – Maintenance and Capital D Projects. Maintenance provides service to schools, which includes all matters related to building and grounds maintenance, alteration projects, preventative maintenance projects, minor repairs and ongoing routine maintenance. This includes 14 schools and 3 division buildings totalling approximately 860,000 square feet and 148 acres of school division property.
Our mandate is to ensure schools and facilities are safe, operationally efficient, clean and well maintained to create an optimal learning environment for students.
